Salespad not displaying clickable links
If you are experiencing an issue where Salespad Desktop does not correctly display the clickable URL links in the various screens, please perform the following numbered process below. While Cavallo Support Level 1 advises the switching the Salesapd them to ‘Basic’, AckerStone already has the Basic them configured.. Cavallo Support Level 2 will advise be to clear out a few entries from the registry, which has also been performed on the AckerStone Virtual Desktop. Finally, Cavallo may advise to have your system Admin edit then the Salepad.exe.Config XML file to remove two lines from the configuration. This has also been performed on the AckerStone VIrtual Desktop.
Instead, please perform the following steps.
1. Close Salespad and disconnect from the Virtual Desktop.
2. RIght Click on your Desktop and choose Display Settings. Scroll down to where you see "Scale and Layout. Change the size of text and apps and other items."
3. Right now it is likely set to 200% Recommended. Change it to 100%. (This is temporary and the screen will be really hard to read)
4. Log back into your Virtual Desktop, and then open Salespad and login. Verify the HyperLinks work as designed. (If you get a message on the bottom right screen to "Fix apps that are blurry, IGNORE IT."
5. Close out of the VIrtual Desktop but let Salespad continue to run. Just click the X on the top of the menu bar or "Disconnect". Don't log off.
6. Repeat Steps 2 and 3, this time changing the Scale and Layout back to 200% Recommended.
7. Log back into the Virtual Desktop. Verify that Salespad is now the correct size, and the Hyperlinks are still there under orders.
8. Log off Salespad and Log back into Salespad, verifying that the Hyperlinks are present even after logging back off and on from the App.
